WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This meeting is intended for specialists working on any transplant service, including anesthesiologists, clitical care physicians, transplant surgeon, residents and fellows in the west coast. Pediatricians, general practitioners, transplant floor and operating room nurses, and clinical pharmacologists may also find educational benefit.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Develop competency with local guidelines on complications associated with liver transplant.
  • Review blood conservation strategy in hepatoma surgery
  • Discuss the ethical principles of organ transplantation
  • Understand the perioperative management of liver transplant recipients

REGISTRATION

Registration is complimentary and pre-registration is not required.

ACCREDITATION

This activity is approved for the following credit: AMA PRA Category 1 Creditâ„¢. Other health care professionals will receive a certificate of attendance confirming the number of contact hours commensurate with the extent of participation in this activity.
